Two of Our Favourites Sharing the YZ Love

One of the best parts of running Yallingup Zinc is seeing where our little tins end up.

What started as a small idea in Yallingup — hand-pouring natural tinted zinc for friends, family and fellow surfers — has slowly grown into a community of ocean lovers, athletes and everyday adventurers who take Yallingup Zinc with them wherever they go.

Every now and then we get photos or messages that genuinely make our day. Seeing people out there doing what they love, with a bit of YZ on their face, reminds us why we started this in the first place.

Today we wanted to share two legends who’ve been spreading the YZ love.

Sharing the Stoke

There’s something pretty special about spotting Yallingup Zinc out in the wild.

Whether it’s on a surf trip, at a weekend footy game, or on a windy beach walk, it’s always a good feeling knowing people are using something we’ve carefully made by hand here in Yallingup.

The goal has always been simple — create a natural zinc that stays on during long days outdoors and feels good to wear, whether you’re surfing, running, coaching sport or chasing kids along the beach.

Seeing people embrace that idea is incredibly rewarding.

Community Makes It Possible

Small brands don’t grow because of big marketing campaigns.

They grow because people share them.

A recommendation to a friend.
A tag on Instagram.
A tin passed around before a surf.

That kind of support means everything to a small business like ours.

So when we see people proudly wearing Yallingup Zinc and sharing it with others, it feels less like customers and more like a community.

Built for the Places We Love

Yallingup Zinc was born out of a love for the ocean and the outdoors.

From the beginning we wanted to create something that:

• uses natural ingredients
• stays on during active conditions
• is made with care for both people and the environment

Every tin is still hand-poured here in Western Australia, inspired by the surf and landscapes that surround us.

Seeing it travel far beyond our little corner of the coast is something we’ll never take for granted.
